Singles

Welcome to the Single's ministry of the Southwest International Church of Christ. We are a very diverse group of fun loving Single Christians in the El Paso, Texas and Las Cruces, New Mexico geographic areas. The singles ministry is made up of people who come from very different backgrounds, cultures, and ethnicities united together in Christ. Just as our brothers and sisters in the first century church were devoted to the word, breaking bread, fellowship with another and prayer (Acts 2:42), our fellowship is committed to these same principles.

As singles at different points in our lives, we are faced with some common struggles and challenges such as finding our Purpose in life, overcoming loneliness, excelling in our Professional and Personal life, building great friendships and relationships, raising up a child as a single Parent, having financial stability and many more. It is challenging to face these battles on our own, but with the help of God and other singles we can together be victorious. We must remember the promise Jesus said, I have come that they may have live, and have it to the full. (John 10:10)

As much as we are committed to loving God, we are also committed to having fun that glorifies him. We organize several activities like singles retreats, movie nights, road trips to other cities, Thanksgiving / Christmas / New Year's parties and attending events organized by singles ministries of our sister congregations in other cities. Together we have found our purpose in life, we are committed to one another and we strive to help one another to live out our purpose.
